AEA Just de Pomme passed the KWPN colt selection in Holland and then completed his performance test in Germany with scores over 70%. He scored an 8 for rideablility. He has a super canter and fabulous trot. As a young stallion he won the ‘98 MSJC 5 year old Young Showjumping Horse Championship but is now just concentrating on Dressage. “Apples”, as we call him affectionately, came 3rd at the Young Dressage Horse Competition in Sydney (‘98) and 3rd at the ‘99 Dressage with the Stars Young Horse championships.
His dressage performances include:
- Novice champion at NEV Championships ‘98
- Novice champion and Elementary Reserve champion 2000 National Dressage Champs
- Selected to represent Victoria at the 2001 National Dressage Championships at Medium level
- 2002 Vic DF State Championships Medium Reserve Champion
- Advanced champion at the 2003 Victorian DF Dressage Championships as well the highest placed Victorian Prix St George combination
- Winner, Victorian leg of the National Prix St Georges Challenge (August 2003)
- 8th place at the DJWTS Prix St Georges (August 2003)
In 2004 Just de Pomme was nominated for the National Dressage Talent Squad.
His oldest progeny is now competing successfully at both dressage and showjumping nationally.
