Indoctro is a son of the famous showjumper progenitor Capitol, who is by Capitano, son of Cottage Son xx. Both Capitol’s sire and dam have reputed jumping lineages. Capitol also produced many approved sons, such as Carolus, Corthago and Calato, in addition to the internationally victorious jumpers Corso Cincinattie and Concorde.

Indoctro’s dam is a daughter of Caletto II, who is a full brother to the international jumper Caletto I. His half-brother Consales out of the same dam also moved in international showjumping circles. Caletto II is sire of the popular stallion in Holstein Caretino and the stallion Calgary, who twice won the Bundeschampionat (German championship). Olympic Champion Showjumper Classic Touch is a daughter of Caletto II. Indoctro’s dam further produced a mare that scored 10 for jumping at her testing.

Further in Indoctro’s pedigree we find Calypso I, of whom four full brothers are also approved. Just like Calypso I, all of them are regular sires of showjumpers and dressage performers. The dressage horse Granat from Christine Stuckelberger is out of a full sister of the dam of Calypso I. The most famous approved son of Calypso is Caprilli.

Indoctro was Champion of his year at his performance test in 1993. He was given the mark 9 for no fewer than five of the test components, of which particularly the jumping components are illustrative of the value of this superstar. His canter received an 8.

Indoctro is a luxury stallion, clearly showing his breeding and displaying his extraordinary jumping manners.
