Dutchman has produced three AWHA approved stallions and some outstanding offspring:

AEA Dutch Lorel (1993) Lorel was Champion all round Warmblood Horse at the 1998 and 1999 AWHA Gala Weekends. She is now B grade showjumping and came second to Jeff Bloomfield at the 2002 Australian Showjumping Championships. She has progeny by Ahorn, Just de Pomme and Indoctro (all via embryo transfer).

AEA Dutch Gem (1992), National Warmblood Mare (Vic ‘96, ‘97) and National Champion Free-Jumper 1995 and Victorian Young Warmblood Dressage Championships ‘96, ‘97, ‘98. Novice and Junior Dressage Champion of ‘98 Vic State Championships. Several offspring (all by embryo transfer) out of Dutch Gem.

Dutch Treat (1991) winner of Naracoorte 2DE as a 6 year old and Olympic potential according to the National Eventing Selectors and 6th Melbourne CCI 2star 1998, “Treaty” is now graded Advanced and came 8th at Adelaide CCI 3star 1999.

AEA Dumbeldore and Dutch Starman are both very successful eventers that have been sold to prominent eventing riders in the United Kingdom.

Dutchman’s History

Dutchman comes very close to the ideal riding horse. His head shows character and is full of expression and masculinity. His movement is elastic and floating with a lot of cadence. Jumping he shows a good technique and has great scope over big fences.

Dutchman is one of 31 stallions selected out of 750 to participate in a 100 day performance test in 1988. Dutchman won the Geelong Showjumping Club’s high jump competition in 1993 and has successfully competed in dressage. Winner of the 1998 Coprice Free Jumping Challenge (1.90m),
