The lineage of Inferno, imported from France, is dominated by genetic jumping material. On his sire’s side, we first find Qredo de Paulstra, a much valued State Stud stallion from the Paulstra lineage. Qredo was introduced to the sport by international showjumper Xavier Leredde. Qredo’s sire Galoubet and his half-brother Jalisco are considered the successors of H. Alme Z, the ‘Chef de Race Mondial’.

Inferno’s pedigree further features the mare Ophalye, daughter of the famous Amour du Bois, also sire of the French progenitor and performance sire Grand Veneur. Grand Veneur supplied various winners, international showjumpers and approved sons including as Tot de Semilly.

Canter and free jumping an 8, jumping under saddle a 9, scored at his performance test in Ermelo, justify the expectations of promising Inferno. He is a powerful jumper, with clever technique and rich scope. In addition, Inferno’s trot is roomy and rhythmic, and his temperament straightforward, reliable and consistent.
