AEA BRED HORSE (INDIGO) PLACED 12TH AT WORLD CUP FINAL IN LEIPZIG GERMANY!

Indigo (Indoctro x AEA Dutch Lorel) placed 12th at the world cup final in Leipzig in Germany.

Indigo is being talked about as the new “Shutterfly” ridden by Margie Engle is bred in Australia by AEA Burong via an embryo transfer from the Worldcup Showjumping mare AEA Dutch Lorel.
The transfer was performed by Dr David Hopkins from the Bellarine Vet Practice. Dutch Lorel was bred by AEA Burong out of a mating from AEA Dutchman (imp) and the Holsteiner bred mare Loretta.  Lorel was her first foal and was a very big foal from birth. She was educated and trained at AEA Burong being ridden by James Patterson Robinson and after James left AEA Burong to pursue a very successful career in Europe, Nick Roberts campaigned her as a Brilliant Showjumper and then Stephanie Dijkstra took over the reins and rode Dutch Lorel in World Cup Showjumping. Stephanie left for Europe with AEA Just de Pomme and Lorel was put to stud but unfortunately was killed by a snakebite.
Lorel first embryo by Indoctro (Indigo) was bought by Mrs Sue Hovell from WA and after Indigo was born in Winchelsea he left for WA where he grew up and was broken in. The Hovells decided to sell Indigo to David and Linda Dodson.
Linda rode Indigo to many placings and wins all over Australia before selling Indigo to the USA because of a marriage split up . Now in the hands of Margie Engel, who told James Paterson Robinson “This is the best horse I have ever ridden”.
We are very proud to have bred this outstanding horse and it shows that we can breed world class horses in Australia said Dirk.

AEA Tuschinski at Werribee Park last weekend

AEA Tuschinski quallified for D&JWTS; with young Dutch rider Brony Lievense

AEA Tuschinski and Brony have qualified in style for DWTS!! This is a tremedous result for both Tuschinski and Brony.

Brony has only been riding the 6 year old stallion for three months and together they have done what many riders find difficult on their own horse that they have been riding for years.

Brony is from the Netherlands and has done her dressage training at Academy Bartel’s with world Number 5 dressage rider and coach Imke Schellekens- Bartels. At only 23 years old she is extremely dedicated and passionate about dressage and sadly (for AEA Burong) after DWTS she will return to Holland. I am told by Brony that when she arrives back to the Netherlands she is going to find herself a ‘Tuschinski’ of her very own to campaign.

Since his arrival to Australia in 2008 AEA Tuschinski had only ever been ridden by Dirk however due to Dirk’s accident he needed a rider to continue his training with. Dirk spends most mornings on the arena with the pair ensuring they are on the right track to win the 6 year old class at DWTS. Now Dirk has almost recovered I am sure that after DWTS he will be happy to have his horse back!!

Check out AEA Tuschinski at the Victorian qualifiers for DWTS below on utube.

New world record for Dutch sensation Moorland's Totilas

New world record for Dutch sensation Moorland’s Totilas

This outstanding Stallion is by Gribaldi so is Tuschinski’s dam.

Krack C on one side and Gribaldi on the other Tuschinski has to be the best bred stallion in Australia.

Totilas has the uphill neck the same has Tuschinski has - they call this a modern dressage horse. No longer are we meant to ride down and deep but uphill and strong.
